My name is Suzy and I've developed the Fabulous Frau online store with an aim to stock and create products that make people feel fabulous in their daily lives. Since I'm on the frock wearing side of the street our products are great for women, however, many fabulous items men will love too!
I find charm in the unusual, and marks of evidence of handmade, craftsmanship or a past life to be beautiful whether it be a piece of clothing, furniture, gorgeous old china and silverware or the latest fashion accessories. To mix these items together and create a personal look that you truly love is such a buzz and a pleasureable way to live that portrays a unique sense of timeless style.
Fabulous Frau was born to show case all sorts of treasures from my own collections as well as to provide an outlet (read 'excuse') to shop for lots more (LOL) - as well as a place to share my artistic endeavours', especially from my sewing machine. I love to create pieces that are a little different and off beat in my choice of fabrics, trims and shapes.
Also included in this website is a custom made quirky and sometimes cheeky range of sassy and humorous greeting cards and stationery. I hope they make you smile.
I began selling on eBay and was having a great time when we decided to sell our home and I put my plans on hold. I have since relocated my home studio (along with our home!) to a gorgeous 15 acre property in St Andrews, Victoria (home of the famous market) and am now focusing on this website as well as some listings on eBay. Please check out my excellent feedback at ebay. Customer service is extremely important to me and I will make every effort to provide you with an excellent online shopping experience.
Why the name of Fabulous Frau? Well, Frau means 'woman, wife, Mrs' in German and it's my way of embracing my heritage after a fabulous (pun intended!) and very inspiring European trip that has my head bursting with all sorts of creative ideas.
